After conducting all of my research, I took everything I have learned from; researching the conventions, analysing film posters within my chosen genre, conducting vox pops and questionnaires in order to understand what my target audience would be appeal to them, I created three different initial ideas to for my final film poster.
From creating my initial ideas, I will take each of the different conventions I have used and decide on the final conventions that I will either conform too or adapt.
FINAL CONVENTIONS
After conducting research into the general conventions of both the horror genre and film posters, I have decided on the final conventions that I will use in my final film poster. The conventions are chosen as it will entice the audience, conform to the feedback given in my audience research and make my film poster more professional and stand out.
FLATPLAN
After finishing off my planning for my film poster, including the initial ideas and key conventions I will use in my final poster, I created a flatplan of my final idea. I chose my final idea out of the three initial ideas I created and annotated around it to explain why I have included these conventions on my poster in a specific way. The flatplan also shows what my final product should look like when finished. From this I am now going to use my flatplan and create my final product.
